Tours & Attractions Lead — The Trail Poet

There's a point on the road to Lai Chau where everything goes quiet. The engine hum fades, the wind picks up, and there — standing on a hillside with nothing but clouds behind it — is a single tree. I write about those moments: the places in Sapa that make you pull over and stand still for a while. As Tours & Attractions Lead, I design experiences and write guides that help travelers find the quiet magic hidden in these mountains.

About Dao

I've walked over 100 trails and visited every major attraction in the Sapa region — not as a tourist counting checkboxes, but as someone designing the experiences our guests will remember. When I write about a trekking route, I know where the trail narrows, where the best light falls at 7 AM, and where your guide will stop to let you catch your breath and your first real view of the valley.

My approach to travel writing is different from typical review-style guides. I focus on moments — the 20 minutes when morning fog lifts over a suspension bridge, the split in the trail where choosing left leads through a bamboo forest so dense that sunlight comes through in thin gold lines. I believe the best travel experiences aren't planned, they're discovered. My job is to point you in the right direction.

Beyond trekking, I cover Sapa's attractions, cultural experiences, village visits, and nightlife. Whether you're looking for an adrenaline-filled adventure or a contemplative walk through terraced rice fields, my guides are written to help you find the version of Sapa that speaks to you — with practical details woven naturally into the story.
