HK Buslines runs two kinds of vehicle on the Hanoi–Sapa road: the sleeper cabin bus most travelers know, and this one. HK calls it the President Limousine — a VIP seated limousine with 28 seats, in the Vietnamese listings. It’s a Kim Long N29 coach launched in November 2025: leather seats in a 2+1 layout, electric massage, seat heating and cooling, a fold-down table.
It’s the daytime option: you sit up, watch the road, and arrive in Sapa in 5.5–6 hours.
Seven departures a day each way, from a 06:45 dawn run to a 22:30 night service, with free hotel pickup across the Hanoi Old Quarter. We book HK every day; this is the seat we suggest when someone wants HK’s schedule but would rather sit than lie down.

VIP Seat ($22) — the eight front rows in a 2+1 layout: electric massage, seat heating and cooling, recline to 40° with a footrest. Fold-down table, two USB ports and a reading light at every VIP seat. HK’s own tip: rows 2–5 ride the smoothest.
Rear Bench Seat ($19) — the back row, basic recline, the budget pick for short trips. For $3 more, VIP is the seat we’d book on the 6-hour run.

Morning runs suit day-trippers and photographers. The 22:30 and 23:00 services are seated night buses — fine for a short sleep. If you want to lie flat, book HK’s sleeper cabin bus instead.
