- One large suitcase and one bag per person is the norm; a bit more is usually fine — Sao Viet is flexible, just mention it when booking.
Seat type
- You choose the class when booking, and our team picks the best available cabin for you. Your exact cabin number is sent right after payment; groups are kept together.
- Single Cabin (Lower) $21.50: a lower-deck pod to yourself — same 90 × 180 cm as every cabin, but no ladder to climb. Pick it with heavy bags or bad knees; as popular as the double with our guests.
- Children aged 0–4 travel free sharing a cabin with a parent; from 5 up, full fare.
- Be at your pickup point 15 minutes early. Water and blankets provided; the toilet on board means no waiting for rest stops.
- Passengers are not permitted to eat any food on board.

Took the sleeper bus from Hanoi to Sapa and back. Booking was easy, and the bus was clean and comfortable enough for the 6-hour ride.
