  • Tram Ton Pass: This road is a popular trail and easier than others to complete it in a day or 2 days. The distance from this point to the peak is around 12 km. This adventure is still challenging, travelers should have a strong physical fitness level.
  • Sin Chai Village: This one is the shorter way but more difficult trails which are challenging, treacherous, and tricky. The distance is 9 km from the poet village to the top, so many terrains are on the way.
  • Cat Cat Village: This is the longest way and also a dangerous trail. However, the scenery is the best. The distance is 20 km to the top, and climbers need to prepare for good health to choose this advanced level.

Fansipan cable car is invested by Sun Group, started on November 2, 2013, located in the complex of Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area. In 2/2/2016, the Fansipan cable car was inaugurated and put into operation.

This is the world’s most modern three-wire cable car system, with a length of 6,292.5m, including 6 main pillars, each 1 km apart. Realizing the desire to conquer Fansipan Peak for many tourists, with a travel time of only 15-20 minutes.

Options to get the cable car station

  • By Taxi: A taxi is a convenient way to get to Sapa Cable Car Station. Taxis will pick you up from your stay at the station directly. From Sapa town to Sapa Cable Car Station can take 10-15 minutes, it is far from Sapa town about 4 km.
  • By Walking: For tourists who would like to explore Sapa on foot, visitors can easily walk to Sapa Cable Car Station. There are many signs along the main way so you can access it easily. You can start walking from the town center, around the Notre Dame Cathedral Sapa, get to Thac Bac Crossroad, then turn left onto Nguyen Chi Thanh Street and walk directly to Fansipan Legend for around 1.7 km
  • By Muong Hoa Mono Train: The train departs from Sun Plaza shopping mall in Sapa town center. This mountain railway is one of the most beautiful and impressive routes in Vietnam, the train runs through several tunnels and bridges, giving a different view like seeing the beauty of the Muong Hoa Valley and hill tribe villages.
