- SP3: Departs Hanoi at 22:00, arrives Lao Cai at 05:55
- SP7: Departs Hanoi at 22:40, arrives Lao Cai at 06:25
How can I get from the train station to my hotel in Sapa?
You can opt for Chapa’s transfer services (shuttle bus, private car, or minivan) between Lao Cai Station and Sapa Town for an additional fee. Otherwise, taxi/Grab or private transport is recommended.
When should I arrive at the station before departure?
Arrive at least 45–60 minutes before departure, especially during holiday periods, to collect tickets, go through check-in, and find your cabin easily
Is Sapa town located at the train’s arrival station?
No — Sapa Town is approximately 35 km from Lao Cai Station. You’ll need a car or shuttle transfer to reach Sapa from the station
Are there toilet facilities on board?
