As we stood on the balcony of our cozy room in KK Sapa Hotel, surrounded by breathtaking scenic views of lush green mountains and terraced rice fields, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of tranquility wash over us. The location of our accommodation was truly perfect, just 800 meters from the bustling Sapa Center yet secluded enough to provide a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Waking up to the mist-covered mountains in the morning and watching the sunset paint the sky with hues of orange and pink in the evening became cherished moments etched in our memories.

Exploring Sapa town was a breeze thanks to its close proximity, allowing us to wander through local markets easily, try delicious street food, and immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture.

However, as our stay progressed, we noticed some unexpected minus points in terms of service. The staff seemed slightly disorganized and lacked attention to detail. There were instances where our requests for additional toiletries or room cleaning were overlooked or took longer than expected to be fulfilled.

Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and took longer than expected to serve us, putting a bit of a damper on a promising dining experience. Despite this minor setback, the taste and presentation of the dishes saved our overall impression. The lemongrass pho leaves a lingering feeling in our taste buds, demonstrating the chef’s skill and dedication to authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

It took multiple calls to reception and a fair amount of time before someone came to address our concerns. 

The next morning, during breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we couldn’t help but notice how attentive and prompt the staff were in catering to our needs. The previous night’s mishap was overshadowed by their impeccable service during this mealtime. It became evident that while there may have been some inconsistencies in their responsiveness, the overall friendliness and dedication of the staff towards ensuring a pleasant stay for guests remained admirable.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The room was cozy and comfortable, providing us with a much-needed respite after a long day of exploring Sapa’s breathtaking landscapes. However, there were some areas where the hotel fell short in terms of service. The breakfast buffet lacked variety and seemed to be understaffed at times.
