HK Buslines is the biggest operator linking Sapa’s terraces with Ninh Binh’s karst country — the same 2024-fleet cabin buses it runs on the Hanoi–Sapa route, with private lie-flat berths and massage mode in every cabin. The run takes 8–9 hours, so most travelers pick a night bus and sleep through it.

Buses drop at Tam Coc or Ninh Binh City — pick the stop closest to your hotel when booking. We confirm every booking directly with HK and send your e-ticket by email.

Seat Type

Three cabin classes, priced by deck: Single Upper $31 — the standard pick. Single Lower $37 — same berth, no ladder to climb, first on and off. Double Lower $42 — one 90×180cm berth for two, $21 each for couples. You choose the exact class when booking.

• Children aged 0 to 4 can travel for free, provided they share a seat with their parents.
• Eating or bringing food on board is not allowed.
• HK Open Bus operates multiple buses, all featuring the same design and color scheme.
• The interior of each bus is meticulously cleaned and vacuumed after every trip. Buses are washed daily and undergo monthly maintenance.
• Each cabin is equipped with a leather mattress and pillow, as well as a soft velvet blanket for added comfort.
