This is the long version of Muong Hoa Valley — the route day-trippers only see a slice of. Over three days you walk 30 km through six villages: Black Hmong Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai, Giay-run Ta Van, Red Dao Giang Ta Chai, then across the quiet side to Su Pan and Ban Den. Two nights in family homestays, seven meals cooked by your hosts, and a car waiting at the end.
Tour Options: Private only — $159 solo, $115/person for 2–4, $85/person for 5–10, with your own guide. Homestays, listed meals, entrance fees and the car back to Sapa are included.

Itinerary
Meet your guide — Nhu, Nay, Chang or Sai — at your hotel lobby and walk out of town toward Y Linh Ho.
Y Linh Ho Village: Explore peaceful Black H’mong village by Muong Hoa stream, surrounded by stunning rice terraces and mountains
Lunch in Lao Chai village with traditional H’mong dishes
Afternoon trek to Ta Van village: Discover Giay, H’mong, and Red Dao communities amid bamboo forests and terraces
Check in at the eco-homestay in Ta Van and dinner with the Giay family. Optional Red Dao herbal bath before dinner — add it when you book, or ask your guide.
After breakfast, head to Giang Ta Chai village at 1,400m altitude, visit waterfall and Red Dao crafts
Lunch in Su Pan village and explore peaceful stilt houses and terraces
Overnight stay and dinner at Su Pan eco homestay
Breakfast then trek to Su Pan 1, with hill side view over valleys
Trek Su Pan 2, admire traditional houses and terraced fields
Lunch in Ban Den village, learn local legends and enjoy scenic streams
Tour ends in Ban Den — your driver brings you back to Sapa (arrive ~3:30–4:00 PM).

The pace is easy but the days are real: 12 km on day one, then 9 km on each of days two and three, on farm paths with some uneven ground. Normal fitness is enough — your guide sets the pace and breaks are frequent.
