Itinerary
Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Den – Sapa
Distance: ~ 30km
DAY 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (~12km)
- 8:30: Meet up with your local guide at the hotel or our office then start trekking.
- Y Linh Ho Village: Located 4km from Sapa town, this peaceful village by the Muong Hoa stream offers quiet charm and stunning landscapes, including rice terraces and the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.
- Experience the culture of the Black H’mong people, known for their indigo clothing, traditional homes, and unique customs.
- 12:00: Having lunch in a local restaurant of H’mong people in Lao Chai village with special local foods.
- Surrounded by terraced fields and mountains, this village showcases breathtaking views and warm hospitality.
- 13:00: Continue the journey to Ta Van village to visit Giay (Giáy) people.
- Explore rice terraces, bamboo forests, and vibrant village life featuring H’mong, Red Dao, and Giay communities.
- 15:00: Visit the ecological homestay in Ta Van to stay overnight and enjoy dinner
- Enjoy dinner with the Giay people, rest, and take in the serene atmosphere under a starlit sky.
DAY 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan (~9km)
- 9:00: After breakfast at the homestay, the tour guide picks you up to Giang Ta Chai village.
- Nestled at 1,400m altitude, the village boasts primeval forests, a waterfall, and Red Dao households. Discover their crafts and culture.
- 12:00: Have lunch in Su Pan village then discover Su Pan village with new wind of trekking tour
- A tranquil, fairy-tale-like area with stilt houses hidden in the mist, surrounded by terraced fields and peaceful nature.
- 15:00: Visit the ecological homestay in Su Pan to stay overnight and enjoy dinner
DAY 3: Su Pan 1- Su Pan 2- Den Village (~9km)
- 9:00: After having a fresh breakfast at homestay, the tour guide picks you up.
- Su Pan is a picturesque village nestled on the slopes of Na Trong Mountain, surrounded by fog, stilt houses, and lush green rice fields. It offers stunning panoramic views of the serene Muong Hoa Valley.
- 10:00: Discover the village of Su Pan 1
- Su Pan 1 is home to the Ngưa Bay Waterfall, located halfway up the mountain. The cascading water creates a delicate white veil amidst the lush green bamboo forest, offering a wild, serene, and peaceful escape from the bustling town nearby.
- 11:30: Discover the village of Su Pan 2
- This picturesque village in Sapa offers the opportunity to trek through areas featuring traditional stilt houses of the Tày people. These wooden homes are designed to stay cool in summer and warm in winter, surrounded by lush terraced rice fields that embody the essence of Tay Bac.
- 13:00: Have lunch in Den village then discover Den village
- Den Village is framed by two scenic streams, Hoa Stream and Lavi Stream, which flow together toward Bản Hồ Village, encircling Den Village. Visitors to Bản Dền can enjoy breathtaking landscapes and hear the heartfelt love story of a Ta Van boy and a Den Village girl, tied to the streams’ origin.
- 14:00: Continuing to explore Den Village
- 15:00: Finish the tour, our car awaits to take you back to your hotel in Sapa.

Additional information
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- Old people should not attend the long trek (9 kms) due to its challenge and danger in case of rain
- Handicapped people and children under 6 years old should not attend this tour
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Most travelers can participate
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers
- If you travel sometime between May and October, you will have a chance to observe and experience how the locals do planting and harvesting on the beautiful rice terrace fields of Muong Hoa valley, one of the most important activities in daily life.
Children Policy
- Children from 5 to 9 years will charge as 50% that is (2nd children between 6 to 11 years will be charged full).
- Children above 10 years old will be treated as an adult and will be charged a full amount.
