The journey to get there was worth it as I found myself surrounded by lush greenery and stunning mountain views. Although it may be a bit far for some tourists, the serene location added to the overall charm of this hidden gem in Vietnam.

Arriving at Ville De Mont Mountain Resort during freezing weather was a bit challenging as the heating system wasn’t very effective. The heated pool didn’t provide enough warmth for December temperatures, making it mostly for show. However, the accommodation itself was stunning, with thoughtful complimentary items like wine, firewood, and fresh fruit.
Despite the remote location, the peaceful ambiance and breathtaking scenery made it feel like a luxurious Swiss chalet in a ski resort. The panoramic view of the Muong Hoa Valley was spectacular, and the cozy rooms were well-designed. We even received firewood and potatoes for a cozy family gathering around the fireplace. Overall, the experience was memorable, despite a few minor drawbacks.

At Ville De Mont Mountain Resort, the Woody Bar offers a mesmerizing experience with its floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the sea of clouds drifting gently over the valley. The bartenders’ latest creations add to the allure.
Additionally, the Sky & Wine Lounge serves as a perfect spot to unwind while savoring sophisticated cocktails and watching the sunset over Muong Hoa Valley. Moreover, the resort’s Spa area boasts stunning mountain and valley views, where I indulged in rejuvenating massages and traditional Red Dao herbal baths, perfect for relieving ailments and detoxifying the body. It’s a serene oasis amidst Sapa’s natural beauty.

Breakfast offered a satisfying mix of Vietnamese and continental fare, with the Vietnamese options standing out. Despite low occupancy, the resort’s tranquil atmosphere felt like a hidden gem. Moreover, the chef and kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate dietary preferences, providing Halal food in Sapa and vegetarian options. Though slightly pricey, the exceptional dining experience truly made it worth the cost.

During my stay at this beautiful 5-star Resort in Sapa, I was amazed by the staff’s friendliness and willingness to help. They went above and beyond to recommend activities, assist with transportation, and suggest delicious food options.
However, there was a small language barrier as most of the staff didn’t speak English. It could be a bit frustrating when trying to solve a problem, but thankfully 1-2 people at reception could communicate in English. Despite this minor inconvenience, I believe that the resort has improved its staff training since my visit 1-2 years ago.
