Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Depart for Ninh Binh and enjoy peaceful countryside scenery along the way.
Arrive in Ninh Binh and explore Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the 10th century. Visit the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, and learn about their significant roles in Vietnam’s early history and resistance against Chinese invaders.
Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, featuring regional specialties.
Board a traditional bamboo boat, rowed by local people along the Hoang Long River, and explore the spectacular landscape of Tam Coc, also known as “Halong Bay on land.”
During the 2-hour boat journey, you’ll pass through three natural limestone caves and admire lush rice paddies, towering karst formations, and the tranquil riverbank scenery.
Continue to Mua Cave, one of Ninh Binh’s most iconic viewpoints. Challenge yourself with a climb of 500 stone steps to the top of Mua Mountain, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views over Tam Coc, rice fields, and the surrounding limestone peaks – a perfect spot for photos.
