At Chau Long Sapa 2 Hotel, I was impressed by the diverse range of room styles, from charming pink-toned suites to luxurious spaces adorned with classic French architecture. However, one aspect that disappointed me was the lack of availability of certain room types. 

For instance, I had my heart set on experiencing the Princess Suite, but due to limited availability, it was already booked. This left me feeling a bit disheartened as I had hoped to indulge in the luxury and comfort of that particular accommodation. Nonetheless, the overall experience at Chau Long Sapa 2 Hotel was delightful, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the Northwest region.

Other Amenities 

Besides, I was pleasantly surprised by the array of quality utility services beyond the luxurious accommodations. One standout feature was the indoor swimming pool situated on the second floor. With its advanced temperature control system, the 40 square meter four-season pool offered a blissful retreat regardless of the weather outside. I cherished the moments spent swimming and lounging by the tranquil waters, feeling utterly relaxed. 

What’s more, guests staying at the hotel could enjoy complimentary access to the pool from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm, making it a perfect way to start or end the day. Additionally, the availability of a Party Room caught my attention. With a capacity of up to 150 people, this space provided the ideal venue for hosting parties, conferences, and team-building events.

I had the pleasure of dining at Chau Long Sapa: Sky View Restaurant & Bar, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Situated atop the Chau Long Hotel, the restaurant offers a luxurious setting with panoramic views of the majestic Hoang Lien Son Mountains and the picturesque Muong Hoa Valley. The menu boasts a delightful fusion of Vietnamese and Western cuisines, featuring mouthwatering dishes like Vietnamese Thang Co Soup, Bac Ha Sour Noodle, succulent River fish, and flavorful rib-eye Australian steak. 

However, my experience with the buffet breakfast was a bit mixed. On the first day, with fewer guests, the options were limited. But on the following days, especially during the weekend rush, the breakfast spread was delectable, with a wide variety of choices to suit every palate. Sometimes, I find it difficult to find a clean table quickly, making me a little bit disappointed. 

Customer Service: Staff Friendliness, Responsiveness To Needs

During my stay at Clay House Sapa, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming demeanor of the staff. However, I encountered an issue with the responsiveness to my needs. One evening, I requested extra pillows for better sleep comfort. Despite the assurance from the receptionist that they would be delivered shortly, they never arrived. I called the front desk again, but still, there was no follow-up. Eventually, I had to go down to the lobby myself to remind them of my request. While the staff remained friendly throughout, the delayed response was frustrating. I believe improving the efficiency in addressing guest needs would greatly enhance the overall experience at Clay House Sapa.
