The hotel’s design combines modern luxury with the cultural identity of the ethnic minority, creating a harmonious and luxurious ambiance. Reflecting the spirit of the highland region, Bamboo Sapa Hotel preserves its cultural heritage while providing a modern and lavish experience for guests.

Bamboo Sapa Hotel has an amazing location with direct views of the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley. It is worth noting that Muong Hoa Street is divided into two rows of houses, with hotels on the even-numbered row offering a clear view of the valley and those on the odd-numbered row partially obscured by the buildings on the other side. 

Only the highest floor provides a view of the mountains; otherwise, guests are treated to views of the neighboring buildings. Despite this, the Bamboo Sapa Hotel is still located in a beautiful place. Sapa Stone Church is conveniently positioned in the town center, about a 300-meter walk from its gate.

The building is 8 floors high and boasts a total of 109 rooms. The classic design of the rooms seamlessly blends with modern touches, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I was impressed with the fully equipped and comfortable amenities provided in every room. What I loved the most was the affordability of the prices, as there were various options to choose from that suited my budget perfectly.

We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe suite upon arrival at Bamboo Sapa Hotel. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished, boasting a luxurious bathroom with a large bathtub. The bamboo-themed decor added a charming touch to the ambiance. Private balconies offered stunning mountain views. However, one drawback was the poor insulation in the room, which made it quite cold during winter. The radiator was not functioning properly, and the AC unit was insufficient for heating such a large space effectively.

Other Amenities

I must say that their amenities were simply outstanding. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the infinity swimming pool. It is not only the first one in Sapa town but also the only one. I was amazed to learn that there are only two infinity pools in all of Sapa, with the other one being at a 5-star resort located quite far away. 

The pool at Bamboo Hotel is not only closer but also more affordable, making it a perfect choice for anyone visiting this beautiful town. What truly impressed me though, was that despite being an outdoor pool, it had hot water available throughout all four seasons! I couldn’t help but wonder about the amount of electricity required to maintain such a feat. Kudos to the hotel investor for their commitment to providing top-notch facilities for their guests!

Bathing in Dao herbs at Bamboo’s massage area is an experience I highly recommend. Trying the naturally stewed medicinal leaves turned out to be wonderfully beneficial for my health. That night, I slept deeply, feeling the perfect harmony of Sapa’s weather and the soothing effects of the Dao leaf water.

Dining: Restaurants, cuisine options, dining experience

Bamboo Sapa Hotel’s restaurant offers a unique culinary journey amidst Sapa’s natural beauty. The spacious and luxurious ambiance, adorned with traditional brocade paintings and Red Dao photographs, sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. In the evening, guests can enjoy delicious meals from a diverse menu featuring mountainous and authentic Asian flavors. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are skillfully crafted into mouth-watering dishes by talented chefs. However, during my stay, I found the breakfast options to be limited. I would be more wonderful if the restaurant had more options for their meals.

Customer Service: Staff Friendliness, Responsiveness To Needs

Booking through the hotel’s website, my family received enthusiastic assistance from the staff. A day before our arrival, a staff member reached out to confirm our schedule, which left a positive impression. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a spacious lobby and friendly receptionists who facilitated a swift check-in process. Overall, the staff’s friendliness and responsiveness to our needs were commendable, contributing to a satisfying experience at Bamboo Sapa Hotel.

In conclusion, my stay at Bamboo Sapa Hotel was pleasant overall. While there were some minor drawbacks, such as limited breakfast options or poor insulation in the room, the hotel’s location in the heart of Sapa provided stunning views. The accommodation was comfortable, and the dining options offered delicious meals. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service, which made me feel valued throughout my stay. Despite the small drawbacks, I would recommend Bamboo Sapa Hotel for its warm hospitality and scenic surroundings.
