I stayed at Phuong Nam Hotel in Sapa and loved how close it was to everything! Just a short 300m walk from the center of town, I could easily explore all the charming streets and markets. It made my mornings so convenient for grabbing a delicious breakfast and planning my day’s adventures. Being centrally located meant I didn’t waste any time getting to the sights and activities around Sapa. Perfect for anyone wanting to dive right into the heart of this foggy, magical town!

We booked the deluxe panorama room and were delighted with what we found. The room was spotlessly clean upon check-in, and everything worked perfectly – the AC, water heater, mini-fridge, electric kettle, and even a fan.  Besides, the room had all the essentials: toiletries, towels, and a hair dryer, with daily bed cleaning and toothbrush changes. 

They surprised us with an umbrella, which came in handy during occasional rains. Although our room didn’t face the mountain directly, it was ideal for enjoying the afternoon breeze on the balcony. However, we did notice an ammonia-like odor in some of the hotel’s common areas, which was a bit unpleasant.

Rooftop Bar

The rooftop bar was a highlight of my evenings during my stay at this hotel in Sapa. The ambiance was fantastic with soothing music playing in the background. I indulged in their delicious cocktails while soaking in the mesmerizing view of the Northwest sky and the peaceful drifting clouds. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the town. 

Infinity Jacuzzi

At Phuong Nam Hotel in Sapa, the Jacuzzi bathtub experience with Dao leaves was rejuvenating. As I soaked in the warm water infused with Dao leaves, I felt all my worries melt away. The herbal ingredients worked wonders on my skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and moisturized. It was a unique and relaxing treat, specially designed to pamper and rejuvenate.

Dining: Restaurants, cuisine options, dining experience

My dining experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. Each morning, I looked forward to their delicious breakfast buffet, which had a fantastic variety of Asian and European dishes. The pho they served was particularly outstanding – better than what I’ve had in many other places. 

The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with soothing Bossa Nova music playing softly, making it a lovely place to start the day. The service was excellent, and the staff were attentive and efficient. The breakfast spread offered a wide selection of fresh veggies, salads, meats, and more. I also learned that the restaurant is available for booking birthday parties and celebrations, which would be perfect given the pleasant dining experience. 

Customer Service: Staff Friendliness, Responsiveness To Needs

I was impressed by the customer service at Phuong Nam Hotel in Sapa. They upgraded our room for free when we arrived early and our booked room wasn’t ready yet. The staff was welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The hotel management showed kindness and great service orientation. They even let us store our luggage in the lobby before check-in and after check-out, which made our visit hassle-free.

Conclusion

Overall, my stay at Phuong Nam Hotel in Sapa was great. The hotel is situated in a prime location and offers affordable prices. Although there was an unpleasant smell outside the corridor, the bar and Infinity Jacuzzi were fantastic amenities. The customer service was excellent – the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Sapa.
