Sapa Capsule Hotel boasts a fantastic location – not too noisy but close to everything. Within just 5 minutes, guests can reach the central stone church, explore the charming neighborhood, or dive into the vibrant central market. It’s a perfect base for exploring Sapa’s attractions while enjoying a peaceful stay.

The stairs leading up to the hotel were really steep, which made it quite challenging, especially with all my bags. There were two routes to choose from – one was a bit farther but less steep, and the other was closer but extremely steep. Despite the location, the hotel itself was comfortable and worth the trek.

Each room is well-equipped with heated bedding, ventilation fans, outlets, and changeable lighting. The convenience of modern control panels improves the overall stay experience.

Pros

The pod at Capsule Sapa was so comfy and had everything I needed for the night – charging ports, bag hooks, blankets, and storage space. I loved how cozy the capsules were with a memory foam pillow and a thick blanket that really helped keep me warm in the cold Sapa weather. 

The bathroom facilities were great too, with enough showers and toilets, and heating lamps in the showers. Overall, the mattress, pillows, and cotton duvet made for a super cozy and warm stay on those chilly nights.

Cons

Surprisingly, I could still hear noises from outside the capsule, but it wasn’t too bothersome. Besides, I experienced occasional internet disconnections and slow speeds, which I expected due to the location. However, when my USB plugs didn’t work, the staff promptly relocated me to another capsule. Overall, the accommodation was comfortable, and the staff were responsive to my needs.

Other Amenities: The Fireplace

The fireplace was perfect for organizing a romantic dinner with wine, adding warmth to the chilly Sa Pa evenings. Additionally, the hotel offers various other amenities like a coffee shop and restaurant, making it convenient and enjoyable to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Sapa Capsule Hotel offers a complimentary breakfast with a choice of egg bread or egg noodles. While the selection may be limited, the staff are warm and welcoming. Additionally, on the first floor, there’s a charming coffee spot where you can enjoy your morning brew with a picturesque view. 

Customer Service: Staff Friendliness, Responsiveness To Needs

I was blown away by the amazing customer service at Sapa Capsule Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly and offered me tea. Even after I checked out, they still made sure I was comfortable and offered me tea again while I was charging my phone in the lobby. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving me great advice on activities to do in Sapa. Whenever I needed information or assistance, they were always there to help.

In conclusion, Capsule Sapa offers an excellent location despite the challenging steep stairs leading to the hotel. While it provides affordable rates, there are limited breakfast options. However, the standout feature is the hotel’s outstanding customer service. Overall, Capsule Sapa is a budget-friendly choice with a convenient location and exceptional service, making it a suitable option for travelers seeking affordability and comfort in Sapa.
